Black Hills Stock Show Rodeo to Feature New Events

Rodeo to run Jan. 29 to Feb. 6 at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center

RAPID CITY, S.D. (11/6/09) – The 33rd Annual Black Hills Stock Show Rodeo proves to be the best yet. The PRCA Tour attracts the top cowboys in the United States; however, the Tour numbers have outgrown one weekend so slack is back during the first weekend along with the PRCA Division I Extreme Bull Riding.

The 2010 Black Hills Stock Show Rodeo will be held at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, S.D., from Jan. 29 to Feb. 6, 2010.

Also new this year is a Gold Buckle Club, a Season Ticket Holder Private Event and the expansion of the all-new Rodeo Zone in the ice arena. “We are not only one of the top rodeos in a 10-state area, but now with the new and expanded events the show will be even better for everyone”, said Jim Sutton of Sutton Rodeos.  

Season tickets for the nine-day event will go on sale Saturday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m. and individual tickets will be available on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. Tickets are available online at www.gotmine.com or by calling the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center box office.
